I was reading up on the SLI mobos on anandtech, for a desktop upgrade that I'll be doing in the next few weeks, and I started to get overwhelmed with how much everything has changed since I built my current desktop (summer '00). I kinda slipped on the map as far as knowing how the technology was advancing. Anyway, after much research, I have decided on going with an SLI setup. In particular, I'll probably go with this mobo. But I had a question as to what kinds of memory it supports. Does it take just regular DDR - I'd rather not pay for DDR2 (and I've read it acutally performs worse at current clock speeds with A64s than DDR since the latency is high)? I'd like to just stick a gig of regular old DDR PC3200 in the system. I feel like an old man and I'm only 18!!
