Should i return my 9200 (Not about the WUXGA)

Ok so about after having the 9200 for a week i must admit it is awesome beyond my expectations, it smokes my desktop and yet can fit in a bag. While im in the 21 return policy thing i have some conerns about sending it back while i can so heres the story...

The headphone jack is pretty loose(slight tug and it comes right out) while the mic jack is sturdy (normal headphone jack strength = good) and yes ive tried many diff plugs to plug into it it really is the jack thats my main concern since im sure it will get looser as time passes.. Next the rightclick button whiggles a bit if u gently rub it while the left button is solid also the rightlick one (the one what wiggles) has a minor scracth that came with it when i got it (maybe they did soemthing to it that would explain why it wiggles)..

So yeha i got like 10-15 days left of the 21 day policy until i can return it for a full refund/exchange. Is it worth it to do it for my problems? if so do they really give a brand new machine or is it refurbed? Also how do i get them to send a new one and once i get it send this one back (will i have to send back acessories also?), and last question if i ask for exchange they are not gonna price it at current prices right?

Thanks

I would call, chat, or email first and see what they'll do and how long they'd expect it to take. Seriously, however, those issues wouldn't bother me enough to return it -- maybe warranty work but not do away with it -- but it's your call.

I would suggest exchange.... they'll give you full brand new system and send it to you at same time you send old one back. that way, you don't go a day without lovely 9200.

I would tell them you expect an exchange for a new unit, mainly because of the headphone jack. The rest while not something to bring happiness is less worrisome imo. Though if they wanted to send a tech to replace the parts on site I'd be cool with it.

cool thanks for your replies, if i call them and ask for this will i get dell india or normal dell cause its dealing with exchanges? for soem reason my account is under small busines but i ordered trough home.. and the chat wont work

Uhmmm.. just MAKE SURE you do all this within 21 days. After that, customer service will care less about slight problems like these and the most you can get is a refurbished unit.

Ok just got off dell chat after goin trough customer care then to tecnical and then back to customer care, and they are sending me a brand new laptop and they are paying shipping of old one back, i send my old one back 5 days after new one arrives.

They said i have to send back everything that they replace, but in my old order i ordered a carry case will that be on the replace list also?

Probably not, but you can probably just put your old notebook in the box with everything the new one comes with and make sure not to miss anything.
