Mini pci video card for Compaq Presario 2100

Does anyone know where to find a video card that fits in the mini pci slot on the Compaq Presario 2100 laptop? I've been searching all over the web and can't find anything.

maybe I am wrong on this, but I do not believe that there is such a thing as a mini pci video card at all, I think that slot is just there for modem/wireless

Well that would explain why I've found absolutely nothing. I guess that means I'm SOL when it comes to gaming (I know, I shouldn't play games on laptops). Probably my only recourse in improving performance is to increase the RAM, wouldn't you say?

You can find mini pci for your laptop but no one will sell you one. Apparently its strictly for OEM... and not for consumers.

sagar 9860 currently has one which has is mini pci --- ntsc, pal... comes with a remote. They just send me the part because they were back ordered.
Maybe you could ask pctorque if they would sell u one...but more importantly would it work on your computer.

Is there any such thing as an externally-mounted video card for notebooks? I don't know where it would plug into -- maybe into one of the USB ports or a parallel port...

More RAM is ALWAYS better...
There is no such thing as a mini-pci or external Video card...
The OEM link is for a TV-Tuner card.. which is in no way a video card.

hello yes you can get a mini pci video card it came out in 2003 and you can still get them now
