There has been many reports of success with AGP cards, but I have yet to see any PCIe cards with unlocked pipes. I can only find two of these cards right now. The other is a Leadtek that has lower clock speeds and costs more.

And to make this even sweeter, rumor has it NVIDIA is releasing drivers on Monday that will fix the Video Processing issues.

So is it like the X800pro to X800XT PE mod where they scratched the paint off 2 traces and drew a line with a pencil to connect them, or do you just need a bios flash to unlock?

it's that easy? a driver mod? Usually Nvidia dosnt let you get away with it that quickly. Usually they hardwire the pipelines shut or not put them there at all. It's ATi which leaves the pipelines there...

Why this, NV42 cores which meet GT/Ultra specs are rare enough.
