Does M6Ne has the same looking with M6BNe?
Are they have the same size and weight?
If you have M6Ne pictures, please post them to me

Crap, ok, I deleted my original reply cause I made a stupid assumption...

What exactly are you comparing, the U.S. models against themselves (i.e. the 15.1" standard screen M6Ne to the 15.4" widescreen M6BNe) or the U.S. models against other countries (I think in Australia for example, the 15.1" is the M6N and the 15.4" widescreen is the M6Ne)? Either way, with the exception of the screen they are the same computer, it's just whether you prefer widescreen or not...

There's been a lot of pictures of that particular model recently. Look in the "Notebook General Photo Gallery" section.

Here's a link to my recent purchase.

Actually you got that wrong.

The series is m6000
It all started with the M6N/M6BN
The original m6n is a 15.1in. with ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 and the m6bn was a 15.4in. with ATI Mob Radeon 9600

Now it's a M6Ne/M6BNe

If the "b" is present, then it's a widescreen
If the "e" is present, then it has the ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

As you can see, they share the same chassis ... they started off by selling the m6n/m6bn ... before they moved on to the m6ne/m6bne

Yeah, I know, I edited the reply, sorry about that, I was just used to people asking about the versions from different countries instead of the 2 U.S. models...stupid Asus for their naming scheme...or stupid me for being a moron

...and that was a much better explanation of the history of the models by damayor then I could come up with...

I did searched in this forum, but I really don't see the M6N(e) pictures...
If anyone who has the SXGA+ M6, please take some pictures for me.
Thanks a lot

take a look here:
http://www.encke.net/encke/modules.p...bum.php&page=1

The 15,4 Widescreen Model is called M67N here. The 15,1 SXGA+ Model is the M68N.
The size is the same.

M6Ne has a silver border around the screen and only 2 speakers

M6Bne has black border and a hump near the bottom of the LCD (exterior side) to accomodate for the extra 2 speakers.
