Hey since i called dell they are sending me a repalcement for my defective 9200, so tonite to go to the order status page and its already in "boxing" but the order price is like $600 more than my defective system! will they charge me the difference or they just put it there for fun?

digging further its being shipped "next day" and under payment option it says "Exchanges" its the exact same config as my defective one. Anyone whose been trough this type of replacement situation with dell any feedback would be a lifesaver.

they put that price there just to make you feel good. You won't have to pay anything extra, not even for shipping your old one back. BTW, what was it that was defective anyway ?

personally i love the coating, been using it about 8 hours each day the past week, in games you cant notice the coatign and it looks unbelivably good, 0 glare, go outside and its all nice to see the screen not a mirror.. if i could pick what technology to put on a screen i would choose antiglare over glare i like new technolgy rather thna stripped out technology , though the screen is a bit birght i lower birgthness a few notch's, if the res could be smaller i would do it its very easy to read text at 96dpi and full rez , oh and very nice for HDDVD at 1080 rex thing, and well photoshop and hl2 widescreen 1920x1200 w00t :-P gonna go play some now lol

Wow, be sure to voice your opinion of the screen on some of the other threads and the poll here and perhaps even on Dell's Community forum (inspiron)

I dunno... My friend has the WUXGA screen and I have the WXGA+... On his, the coating is visible, but on mine its not. Both of us are going to have replacements though... My screen has a line at the bottom (looks like trinitron monitors but about 3X thicker) and he can't stand the coating.
