Sony U750P on its way

Thread Starter
Sony U750P Mini Brochure.

You could think of this as the PSP's older brother, all grown up and ready to start being productive. The original U50 and U70 were introduced in Japan earlier this year, and the U750P is the American version with a 1.1ghz ULV CPU /w a 2mb L2 Cache.

I've had some real hands on time with the Sony T140, but I settled on the U750P because I had been intially holding out for an OQO this fall, but after reading a few reviews I quickly realized it wasn't delivering. Too little, too late. Speaking of reviews, I'll put one up toward the end of next week for anyone else who is interested.

Ill be waiting for that review

This is truly a really incredible machine and I am glad that Sony decided to release this here in the United States, despite the lack of large market, for this type of machine.

Just snagged an OQO and love it! The Sony has no keyboard, less battery life, and weighs more! blah. Here some some pics compared to my o2 XDA II Mini/i-mate jam/HTC Magician.

It does have a keyboard and the sony has a better processor than the OQO (much better!), larger screen, and can have a extended battery.

The only reason why the OQO has better battery life, is because it uses that outdated processor, and has a smaller screen.

Edit - Congrats on your purchase. But I think your post was pure trolling. This thread had nothing to do with the OQO and you just came in trying to justify your purchase, by putting down the U that somebody else bought.

Screw that, it has an integrated graphic card. Right guys? If it has an integrated graphic card we tell it to go home and die?

I'd be impressed if any of those units came with an ATI Mobility Radeon 16 or even 32MB.

Wow...what a pecker response. I was going by this information...

Where did I lie? According to this chart the OQO does indeed have better battery life, weighs less, and finally..TADA...no built in keyboard.

"and its lack of a built-in keyboard makes it difficult to type in a URL, not to mention write e-mail or work on a Word document."

I'am not bound by the OQO or the Sony nor do I have to justify my purchases. I posted my purchase and the advantages it has over the Sony. Now if someone that actually owns the Sony wants to point out the advantages over the OQO (which there are) then more power to them. The last thing I would do is call them a troll and make pointless assumptions. The Sony does have great features, but so does the OQO. Kinda scary that you're a mod! You accuse me of putting someone down, then bend information to lay down a veiled insult...all without facts...
