Buying a Sager 9860....few questions

Ok so I'm getting ready to buy a 9860 from pctorque.com. I have been looking for a laptop for 4 months and after extensive research on brands resellers etc I have made my choice. I almost went with Alienware in the beginning, but that brand has more issues then Playboy.

So here's a few questions with what I plan on getting and my uses.

Sager 9860-S Notebook
3.4GHZ p4 LGA775, 800 FSB w/ HT
256 MB PCI-Express NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 6800
2048 533DDR2 (4DIMMS)
HD 1: 60GB 7200 RPM
HD 2: 60GB 7200 RPM
No Raid Configuration
Bay 1 Media Drive: 8x DVD +- Combo drive with DVD+R DL
NTSC & Multi PAL TV Tuner
Windows XP Pro
12 Cell Smart Li-Ion Battery
Internal 802.11g Wireless + Bluetooth

Warranty: 3 Year Warranty under 3,000 (Warrantech)
1 Year Repair Transit Coverage to Sager
$3303

Now some of my questions.
1.) Will 2 7200 RPM drives cause me a heat issue? I know i modded my xbox with a 120GB HD and most ppl said 7200 could casue heat issues and to go with 5400 rpm instead. This bad boy will most likely run all day long and preferably all night depending on what im downloading

2.) If I buy Windows XP Pro, do they pre-install it or just give me a cd and i gotta put everything on myself once i get it? if they do preinstall it do they put on tons of free crap software like 42 demos of nonsense?

3.) Warranty. What in god's name are all these options? Warrantech, Phillips? I don't get it? and then there's the +LCD Option. Well what abou tthe LCD does it cover? does that mean if i dont get the LCD option if it burns out its not covered under the regular warranty?

As far as usage goes, I usually ride my computers pretty hard. I do tons of Video Editing, Animation, Flash and Web Developent, Graphic Design, DVD Authoring, (No DVD Watching), and Hard Core Gaming, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, etc. etc.

That's pretty much it, everything else is pretty much covered all over these forums. Would you guys add anything to this configuration or change anything based on my usage? Money is always a consideration of course, but it's always good to get everyones opinion to make an informed decision.
Everyone who replies gets a free beer!!

As far as I know, They install windows and the drivers I believe. No useless freebie annoying dell crap :P

Hard core gaming, I have 1 80 5400 SATA, because I plan to buy a second drive for Raid0 config which is suppose to be faster. Heat wise when im doing hours and hours of heavy playing I can top at 65C. Keep in mind this is a prescott. I don't know what the dual drive people are getting but you can use it as a comparison

I heard G said that Warrentech had a clause that if the unit was no longer available or parts were no longer at hand, they'd just refund you back the portion of the warranty you haven't used.. and Phillips I believe refunds the purchase price of the unit. If this is wrong.. someone will be sure to correct me :P

So there have been no heat issues with your dual 7200s?

generally it runs anywhere from 40-50 degrees while im working and only jumps past 60 when rendering in Maya or other 3D apps, never seen it go past 65 though. palm rest gets a little toasty but i just wear a little palm cushion thing i made and its nice a comfy. Our office which is about 15 x 15 and has 5 guys in it all working on 9860s gets a little toasty in the afternoon though

Wow, sounds like you've found the true cause of global warming!

Thanks for the information. I'm considering two of the 80GB SATAs, but I bet there wouldn't be much difference in heat. I think someone said it's the graphics card that is under the palm areas.
