So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

Originally posted by kp130000 That is weird. What campus did you attend? I went to the Athens campus. I am going on the OU Chubu Program. What did you major in? Perhaps we know each other. What is your first name, if you don't mind mentioning it? Are you going on the JET program? Cause if you are, I would like some information on it because I am considering it. Perhaps you can answer some of my questions about Japan. You can hit me up at kp130000@hotmail.com
i was in athens also. i majored with a BSS in science and technology with a physics minor and i lived on hocking street for the last 2 of my 5 years of school. no JET for me, i'm going through GEOS, a private company. name is Lee, btw.
Originally posted by Laopooh weird, i just graduated from ohio university and will be taking my 5680 to ichikawa (chiba prefecture; 20min train ride to tokyo station) to start a job as an english teacher.
Cool I am looking at a new career in english language teaching in Japan also in the very near future, going to get into a TESOL course in the next few months.
I'll have my Sager 5680 at the University of Michigan. I'm envisioning nightly gaming parties with the new wireless network and lots of gamers with notebooks with wi-fi. *drools*

PROTIP: you dont need any certification to work at one of the big-4 conversation schools in japan (nova, geos, aeon, ecc). i got hired at geos with nothing but a college degree.
I was going to get a 5680 for school, UNC-Chapel Hill, which starts like the 27th or something. At UNC you are required to have a laptop and I don't know if it will fly if I don't have one until 3 weeks into school. Plus I don't know if I want to do that....and I dont' want to get the 8890(too big). I am a one legged man in an ass kickin' contest....
Our campus has a very nice wifi network.... covers center campus... and just about every building on campus has wifi. As well as many of the food/coffee buildings.
Im waiting for the 5680, I will not fall for Sagers ploy.
going to Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA at the end of the month... just need to... hold out... for the 5680. Waiting has made this the longest summer ever.
Will be taking a new 5680 with me to CalPoly SLO as well. Going for computer engineering, and I plan to use their wireless enabled areas...
Anyone up for a LAN party in the library?
i am gonna start my fall semester at UC Berkeley in over 2 weeks and am doing a major in Computer Science as a junior transfer.
was planning on buying a 5680 but unexpected family circumstances will not permit me at this time
