Did alienware give me the wrong 'master cd'?

Well my AGP Aperture is showing up as non-existant, so I wanted to try installing mobo drivers, only to find the ones on the master cd are only for the 5860 models, along the the video drivers, and most other things on the cd. Even the wallpaper is of the older models.

What good is this cd supposed to be to me? Any useful things are located on the utility cd. I'm really lost as to what I'm supposed to do, it seems like a new batch of problems is occuring on this thing.

So the master cd should have the stuff for the 766/5500 then right? I just want to make sure I did in fact get the wrong cd :-/

And it would appear to be the processor or something that is giving me trouble. 3DMark2001 is giving me a score of 6000 which is over 5k to short, yet 3DMark05 is giving me 1309, which is 3 points lower than normal.

Get drivers from the alienware website...they're generally more up to date for your computer. The master CD is just a backup in case you're caught without net connection.
