New SHARP PC - AL27

I bought the new pc al27 sharp notebook. It looks pretty slick with a white (mac like) case and some goodies like built in wireless G, 512 ram, dvd-rw burner, AMD athlon 64, double bright 15" LCD. @ $1300

However, after buying it I have some complaints I wanted others to be aware of. First off, the batterly life is a awful 2 hrs and after calling around to tons of clueless sharp service reps I discovered they have no extended life batterys to offer.
Next, the internal wireless card constantly disconnects from my internet for no reason even though other systems on the network do not. Tech support reps were complete idiots and promised to call back with an answer, but never did.
So if you don't mind bad support over all its an ok laptop, but has some flaws.

fyi - And if you have any idea about the wireless issue plz let me know. -- its not the power/hybernation problem, the system isnt powering down.

Regarding the battery...

That is in no way their fault. I can only say that you should have done your research before hand, and asked around about the availability of an extended battery.

Reply to battery life

No, not their fault at all.. So they shouldn't know their product? It took calling 10 different parts of their company to find out if they had one or not, they had no idea. Moron.

Not to start flaming, but Enderets right. If you had researched before hand and found out that their is no extended batter, then you would never have to make any phone calls at all.

If they do phone back about the wireless, post it here so other can learn from it .

Thanks!
