9860 webcam issue

My new 9860 is performing well except for the built in webcam. All I get when launching LiveCam is a gray screen. Have uninstalled and reinstalled software and USB finds the camera.

Any ideas please?????

Try and change the source. I think there are 3 that show up. Choose the Bison one without vfw on it.

Any more updates on this one? I'm trying to get the camera to work in Windows Messenger and all I get is the grey screen. However, when I downscale Messenger another Windows task has the screen up in the upper left corner of the screen with no border or picture-in-picture (when I request that option). It isn't moveable, it just stays there with no options. I have the program going at my other computer with the picture in the proper location/application. I also had to use the Bison without the vfw to get it to even work while setting up with the audio/video wizard. I'm also having microphone issues but haven't attempted to fix that yet.
