I have a dell i9100 and would like to know what i need to get inorder to play xbox or ps2 on my laptop screen. I heard that you could have video lag with some usb connections, is there any nonlag alternatives?

Thanks

Don't bother. Your only solutions are analog capture cards, which will look significantly worse than a decent TV.

In addition, when it comes to the Xbox, there are solutions to display in high definition on a CRT monitor, which will totally blow away an analog TV tuner.

there's a connector that you need. i have one, it's made for the xbox. the quality didn't impress me that much, but there's no lag or anything. i bought it at an EB store a few years ago.

There are no fully working PS2 emulators (not sure about XBox).

There are preliminary Xbox emulators, but their game support is extremely limited. I think the only playable games are Halo and Turok.

The device I was talking about is the X2VGA+:

What sets it apart from other devices is that it takes the HDTV inputs and displays them on a CRT. The downside of this is that it does not work with games that do not support HDTV res (480p or higher), but so few games only support low-res 480i.

According to this list, about 90% to 95% of games seem to support HDTV:

Depends what you mean by fully working. There are emulators that have a few games playable and quite a few games runnable:
