Fujitsu S6220 or S6231?

Anybody want to explain the differences between the two. NewEgg has both with the same configuration (Pent M Centrino, 1.7, 512, 60 gb, wireless, DVD multi-drive, etc. The 6220 has WinXP Pro for $1799 and the 6231 has XP Home for $1749. Which would you buy? Has the 6231 replaced the 6220? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ace

hey ace....yes, the 6231 did replace the 6220. as far as i know, the only difference between the two is that the 6231 is supposedly much better at dispersing heat. you might want to check out the fujitsu forum at notebookreview.com (http://www.notebookreview.com/forums...asp?FORUM_ID=7) . Or, you an also check out www.leog.net (a site devoted to the fujitsu ultraportable p7010; also has info on other fujitsu models). I've used an S6210 and N5010 in the past, and i recently got the monster N6010 (17"), so if you have any questions, feel free to holler!

hey lazyace, almost forgot...if you want to make any customizations to whichever unit u decide to go with, u can check out www.portableone.com . they're an authorized fujitsu reseller/service center, so whatever mods they make won't affect your warranty at all.
