I think you must have hit the nail on the head. I hadnt thought to look in the screensaver tab and lo and behold, the screensaver was set to wait for 5 mins and it also had a checked box beside "on resume password protect" or something like that. Have unchecked the box and increased the time to 450 mins. Will see how that works out. Thanks
