audigy 2 zs notebook volume???????

i just got my audigy 2 zs notebook soundcard, and the maximum volume is not all that loud. I am using headphones. For my default soundcard, the maximum volume was pretty loud, and now its not. Any suggestions? Can I do something about that on the computer, or would I have to buy something for the headphones?

Same problem here, only not with headphones but with the speakers built-in. Laptop is a Targa Traveller 811. Sound quality is very good though, only not quite loud enough. Volume settings in Win XP are at maximum level; sound card settings too.

Tnx in advance!

Hi,

I got my audigy notebook card last night. I have a dell 8500, running xp sp2. I think the volume is quite loud on headphone: i have master volume on 50 percent, and wave volume on 50, and it it's already at about my threshold of volume. I know there are new drivers that are out for the card; the ones that came with card are dated from october. The latest ones on the creative site are from december, maybe that can work out better for you guys? Hope you get that issue solved. take care,
