Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse Battery Life?

Thread Starter
Hi,

What is the battery life of the new microsoft bluetooth mouse with tilt wheel?
Someone said the mx-900 was about 48 hrs of use, and microsoft seems to say their most recent bluetooth mouse has improved battery life.

So, how long can I go before it needs another charge?

Their nonbluetooth version states on the box that many users average over 6 months of battery life on a pair of regular AAs. Does this apply for the bluetooth version as well?

Thanks

I've had mine for about 3 months now and I just replaced the batteries last night for the second time. I seem to get about 6 weeks of fairly heavy use off those two double AA's. I use my mouse at work all day then come home and use it for many hours at night.

Hope that helps.

It would've been nice if MS had put a ****ing off switch on this thing. I don't like the fact that it's on all the time, and if you have it in a bag or something, just moving the bag a bit will wake it up.
