Yah, my NetGear has always had a good signal. I take the machines downstairs, out in the carport, out in the yard, even in the front yard (its a concrete block exterior) and I've rarely seen less than 80% signal, most of the time its 100%. The only times its been really low was way down at the bottom of my yard (100' horizontal, -30' vertical). The PS111W also has 4 wired ports which is really nice to have as I have a number of printers. I wouldn't get a router that didn't have at least that many wired ports. Of course, you can have plenty of wireless ports. I think its 16 or something like that. Definitely, regardless of brand, make sure its got some wired ports, at least 4. For that matter, if you can, try the bugger out in your location and if it doesn't work well, return it.
