fujitsu or sony?

I'm in the market for a new laptop. I want something portable to use primarily for working like high speed Internet, email and Word. I've been looking around and like the laptops that are only like 4 pounds or so. I don't want anything heavy. I've been looking at Fujitsu and Sony. Sony is pretty expensive but the Fujitsu ones aren't that bad. Are they both good PC manufacturers? Would anyone recommend something else besides Dell or HP?
I am looking for a good solid laptop with good support should I need it.

do a serarch on sony s260 or s270 someone directly compared these models in a side by side on the forums somewhere.

All of them are great manufacturers. I think it all depends on your needs. I don't think any laptop is going to fail on you more than another...it all really comes down to your price point and feature set that you are working with.
