9200 WUXGA - will it be fixed?

I've really been put off the 9200 with all the negative feedback regarding the WUXGA screen. I don't want the XGA, so really not sure what to do.

I was thinking the new HP ZD8000, but when the 9200 came out, I was converted.

Now with all the bad PR, I am tilting back to the zd8000 which was just realeased today.

Is there a chance that Dell will be listening to the feedback on the 9200 WUXGA and do something about it?

As long as you're gonna get a notebook over 10 pounds, wait a month and buy the XPS 2nd generation. Supposedly it also has a 17inch screen.
hopefully Dell wouldn't have farked up that screen too.

I wonder how expensive the XPS Gen 2 would be.

The current XPS isn't available here in Australia so not sure the Gen 2 one would be???
