Alienware is not the only choice for a good laptop. It's arguably one of the best choices, but certainly not the only one. If you don't want to wait for an Alienware, purchase one from Sager, or Voodoo, or somewhere else like that. You can't do anything about anything even if you know which part is on backorder, because the fact is it's still going to be delayed, regardless of how much you whine and complain about why that part is on backorder.

You're in control of your own situation, not anyone else. You can fix it by using common sense and going the quicker route, or sit here and type out your frustrations on a board that most likely won't get you anywhere fast.

Or you can "wait like the rest of us".

What the hell does Bush have to do with this? Grow up and be patient (and YES I DID read about your little problem).

I voted for Bush and I have self-respect. I have a gross household income of 7 figures biatch. I would be stupid for me to vote for Kerry. My right to my money. It does not get more basic than that.

I went with a Sager only cause I saw the wait times were gonna be long for an Area 51... I am not a very patient person. I hope you get your computer soon.

This is getting really stupid. I have pre-ordered the 7700 knowing that it will take a long time. Of course waiting for you laptop for months isn't a fun thing to do, but here in the forum many people are waiting patiently discussing things. I think most people who complain about AW's shipping date are people who didn't do much research. I think its common sense to research about the company if your going to spend a lot of money.

Also I believe that when configuring the system, it lets you know which parts have "limited availability". Last time I checked the monitor, graphics card, 2gb ram(1gbx2) and the batteries were going to cause delays.

hah!

if you really needed a lappy fast to do your 'portfolio' because THEY have deadlines and your current pc is too crappy, WHY, in the name of reason, did you choose Alienware in this period of the year, and especially WHY did you ordered a lappy that has problems with B/Os for a whole month already?

all this is non-sense. If you had did your homeworks prior buying your lappy, you would already have it in your hands. period.

The longer you have to wait for your new system, the longer you have to digitally oscillate your member thinking about the good-loving-sweetness that will soon come into your meaningless life. I get moist just thinking about it.

Yes, it is getting really stupid. Because I don't know how many times and in how many ways I have to say that my gripe has nothing to do with delays, but with AW's honesty and the difficulty to get any consistent information from them. Should I draw a little picture with flowers and little birdies, would that make it clearer?

Why? Because I need a machine that I'll be able to use for a few years, at least. And because I didn't need it ASAP -- any time around late December or early January is fine. But not late January. And if that's what it takes, fine -- then I'll rent a computer. But I really need to know.

Is it too f-in much to ask??? Like, "yo, how's my order, what's your latest estimate, what's missing?"

I can't believe this.

"Be a good little citizen and shut up."

It's all Bush's fault. We should all pack up and move to Canada.

I like Molson. And Bruce Springsteen.

I'm refering to your previous post where you claim things like this are the fault of people that voted Republican this year. It was a joke...to lighten the mood.

I understand.

However, I never claimed what you claim I claimed. Re-read the post. I also wrote a follow-up to your original post.
