Called Sager tech support on Friday about my problem which is shared by many, essentially as discussed in other threads, the 8790 seemingly under the new BIOS update likes to artifact after about 20 minutes running default GPU clock speeds, my problem however can be corrected by underclocking the GPU about 50 points.
Additionally my FN+F10 fan function would not work no matter what I did.
The tech alerted me on the phone that my KBC/EC and Video BIOS were NOT the latest released, and without those updates the Fan function wouldn't work, additionally he said that my unit would run much cooler, and these updates should solve any and all issues with artifacting.
My KB/EC is 1.00.01 I didn't ask what the latest was, but if you are not running a higher version that what I listed, I would check into it. He was supposed to e-mail me the firmware, but I have yet to receive the e-mail.
