"Stage 2" Forever.....(sighs)

I ordered my 7700 (fully loaded) on November 27th. I payed via credit card. My order has been in "stage 2" ever since. I've called several times to get an update but the phone staff keeps saying that it is still expected to ship on January 3rd? Should I alarmed? when should I decide to cancel the order if this status doesnt change? Thanks all for input.

stage 2? what company are you ordering from?

anyway, they are really busy with orders so thats why your PHASES are moving so slowly.

Sorry "PHASE" 2. (like you didnt know what I was refering to My credit card company accepted and transfered the $500 deposit immediatelly. Alienware said there was no problem with my payment whatsoever. Hence the curiousity over the extended "PHASE 2". I saw on another thread that some who have ordered there 7700's after my order date have moved into later "PHASES".
Astu did you get your 7700 yet? When did you order it? Hypersonic says they'll ship one with the same specs within 12 days of the order, but of course I want an Alienware. Wish I could get some re-assurance on a realistic arrival date.

Have you guys called Alienware, or are yoo just checking the webiste? Because mine said Phase 2 on the website until the day before it shipped.
