wireless or "laptop mice" for gaming - Page 2

I am currently using an MX1000 as my laptop mouse. It certainly owns everything else I've ever used, wired or otherwise. The only problem using it with a laptop is that the receiver is corded and quite bulky (it's a charging station for the mouse).

I get around this because I also have the nice red Logitech laptop mouse, as well... with the little-bitty dongle receiver... which just so happens to work with the MX1000.

The MX1000 has a built-in battery that packs quite a charge over even the MX700/900 that have two rechargeable AA batteries. I charge it overnight every few days and it works very well. The MX1000 even has an on/off switch on the bottom, so it doesn't use any power stowed away in my backback. The power-saving features of the MX1000 are quite good as well. Even the power-meter on the side goes out when the mouse is idle.

For the 3790, I use this kensington mouse w/ retractable usb cord. It's a little smaller than the average desktop mouse, so it took a little while to get use to. Plus you can adjust the length of the cord, which isn't too long anyways, and retract it back into the mouse. The usb port safely tucks inside the mouse too making it very portable. Just something to consider if your concerns are geared towards portability and ease of use.

peace.

I will be using a razer diamondback mouse as soon as i receive it and whem my lappy comes in. I heard it is the best mouse ever. Granted it is not wireless but precision is what i need, gaming and for photoshop.
