I need to pay off somthings and I was wondering how much I could get for my XPS notebook.

That's a good deal. How much did you pay for it initially. If it's really in mint condition I'd try to get a good portion back.

Depending on warranty, somewhere between $1700 and $2000.

about 1300.

I agree with Daoooo. It is a low end XPS.

i know that
thats why i am asking what i can get for it...

since you have the DVD burner that should help some on the price. i wouldn't expect to sell it for more than 1500.

i would shoot for something more than 1500 though. after all, it IS an XPS and not a 9100. the looks should count for something plus you have the tech support and all that stuff.

try to get 1750, i'm sure there is someone out there that will pay that if not more.

here's some selling highlights of your lappy.

NORTHWOOD -> cooler temperatures
DVD BURNER -> obvious reason
7200 rpm HD -> best HD on the market

got a cool quick snap cover? list it too.

highlight the cool looks, the great cooling, and the things above.

try not to focus on the 512 ram as that is a negative for selling (most would want a gig).

are you going to sell the backpack too? LIST IT!!!

look on ebay and see what similarly speced ixps' sold for in the past

there's your reference point...

i would not pay more than 1500 for it. i am tempted to buy it off of you and use that as a test platform.....hmmm

I'm with whackamac and daoooo, somewhere on the low end of $1,300... I've seen similarly spec'd systems go for the same price new. It doesn't really stand out from other computers because it lacks the things that make the XPS unique

also the 1 year warranty is a big setback, most people are looking for at least 3 years (plus many want CompleteCare too) and I'm not sure whether or not it can be extended at this point when you transfer ownership... something you might want to look into though

well shoot .... i might as well keep it
ahah
hopefully whack can get the video card pipelines released on the MR9800... that would change my mind alot...
Im concerned about gammin performance down the road too... will the MR9800 keep up with games to come... 12 pipelines sure sounds scrumptious...
