I've seen pcmcia audio options in the 2.6 kernels. I'd assume that it would work, but I don't exactly have one to test with...

If you know a liveCD that has PCMCIA Audio support built in I can test it for you. I am in between rebuilds on my laptop so no linux currently installed.

Hm.... Unfortunately, I'd have to wrap my own livecd, because afaik, most livecds try to cut down on size, so I think their kernels don't include pcmcia audio support... I'll have to check the next time I'm in knoppix though

mepis has an almost full-sized live cd (also used as an install cd).

I heard ubuntu has a decent CD I can maybe try, too. I'll give it a shot in the near future.

I've heard from a friend with the same card that for some odd reason, his card worked with kernel 2.6.7, but died using 2.6.9 and 10- try downgrading to an older kernel, see if that changes anything...

I haven't been able to get it working in Ubuntu...but then again, I haven't really tried either.
