I'm picking up my new laptop this evening! It's been a long time coming. My current laptop is a P1 233Mhz Dell Latitude CP. And I love it. Very slow, but completely dependable and sturdy.

Anyway, two questions:

My new machine has a Celeron M 340, can I upgrade the processor to Pentium M at some point? [Thanks to Martin, who answered this question in another post that I just saw.]

I almost went with a Dell Inspiron. How do they compare? I'm wondering mainly about the screen quality, but please also speak about other performance issues.
