I made the BIOS Update and it worked fine. Did not have to reinstall anything. After first start windows recognized the RAID fasttrek drivers new, and after restart anything was like before. The only change I see is the time on the front panel. And I like it....

I am having a problem flashing my bios. I have burned it to a disk as a boot disk and it is booting to it and going to Dr DOS, but i am stuck there. It keeps giving me 4 options and places it in drive A. So i am changing to drive D and typing h8-s3 and nothing happens and nothing happens when I type c2.

What am i doing wrong?

When the CD boots the computer it changes the CD drive letter to A:/. So do not change the drive letter and run the commands from the A: prompt.

IGNORE TOP POST
I've had to but the BIOS on another site

Please download the attached file 986bv02c.iso (1.8mb)
The file 986bv02c.iso is the image of a bootable disk with all the files for updating the system BIOS. Burn the 986bv02c.iso to a CDR or CDRW disc.
Use the disc to boot the computer to flash the system BIOS.

After the system bios flashed, please load the default settings in the CMOS setup.

Please read the attached pdf (175k) file for direction to install Windows XP

You could try the Eurocom (D900T) version

2.To remove the port 80 routing selection item in SCU
3.To update IDE setup
4. To fix the problem that resume from S3 fail with IrDA mode
