Faulty CDROM?

I have had my 51m for about a year now. WHen I got it I cut price corners by opting for just a normal burner and not the dvd burner which at the time was only a 2 speed.

Well I try to burn CD's now and they all seem to turn out to be coasters. It is getting real anoying. It almost seems like the CD player has to try a little harder than normal sometimes to read CD's

Anyone else having this problem?

ummm well from what I have seen the old burners were pretty crappy but mine was a 4x dvd+rw/cd+rw and it only lasted about a year and then it just crapped out so AW sent me the new 8X one which is very nice and from what I read in this place Im not the only one that has had problems with that. For just the CD burner i dont know, i dont know who made it. Just call AW and then they'll send you a new one sounds like its a cd rom problem and not software...
