Gaming on the 4760

I ordered the NP4760 with the 17" screen. P4 2.6, 512DDR9but i ordered another 512) so it will be a gig of Ram, 40 gig 5400 RPM 9 i upgraded to the 5400 RPM)hd, AtI 9000 M9 64 meg ddr card. I just wanted some input on people with the same laptop and see if Counter Strike, Day of defeat and Battlefiled 1942 will or Does run good on this system...

Counter Strike and Day of Defeat should run great on that laptop. I haven't ever played 1942, however, so I have no idea how that game will run.

remember counter-strike and other half life mods would run full tilt on a geforce 2 32mb...a radeon 9000 64 meg = ownage compared to that..

Return to Castle Wolfenstein runs like a champ. Can't wait connect it to the net for multi-player mode.

I played cs for years on my intel celeron 500 mhz , 192 megs of ram, and 16mb integrated graphics (then upgraded to geforce2 64mg)
I think you should be fine.
