FS: Uniwill 259IA - 1.7 Dothan/15.4" WSXGA+ 60G 7200rpm 1 gig M9700 256MBI bought this as a barebones from RJTech about 2 weeks ago -
Imagine an Alienware Sentia, then think of what would happen if it had a big brother.... The Uniwill 259IA is essentially a Sentia by Design, but with a 15.4" Screen, and an ATi m9700 with 256mb VRAM.
It's configured with:
FLAWLESS 15.4" WSXGA Screen, with no light leaks, no dead pixels, and a brand new NuShield Installed!!!
Intel Dothan 1.7 2mb Cache
1 GIG Single Chip DDR333
60G 7200RPM HDD
ATi 9700 256Mb vram 475/220 (stable and cool)
Internal Intel 2200 Wireless Card
(Second Internal MiniPCI Slot for TV Tuner)
Built in Card 4 in 1 Card Reader
4 Speakers + Mini Sub - Sound is better than 90% of the laptops I've heard.
3x USB 1x Mini Firewire
Carry Case, Driver CDs, Original Box, Packaging, everything as if it were brand new... (because it is)
Gets almost 3 hours of battery life with PowerPlay(ATI downclock) Disabled with the screen about 3/4 bightness, and under heavy work load. (downloading, mp3 listening, programs installing)
It's extremely portable, very light, about 6lbs.
It also has InstantOn features, so you can open the lid, push a button, and the laptop will play DVDs with out having to boot into Windows!!!
The system is like brand new!!!!
Due to the Holiday it hasn't gotten much use, other than some WoW time. So you would ask, Why Are you Selling This!??
Well for those who know me, I had moved to a new place, and upon doing so, sold my big Desktop Gaming machine and 23" LCD! Well, the downgrade from a 23" to a 15" LCD is just killing me, I can not use a laptop as my main and only system. I sit for long periods of time at my desk, and it's just not working out for me! I miss my desktop!! I do not travel, I do not need portability, it's a nice feature to pick up and go sit on the couch, but that rarely would ever happen.
So here it is, offering it out here, I figure somebody would have to be interested in it! Save a little money, I know quite a few members here are on the fence about buying one of these systems. At least here, you'll know there's no dead pixels, no light leaks, and perfect functionality!
So, I've got quite a bit invested in this machine -
