It was a tie (I actually won by 2 votes). It started with Commish saying I was not funny and then someone else chimed in about the lame attempts at humor ruining the board. I wondered if they represented the board so I put up a poll. Commish countered by putting up a Muns is teh man poll. I just got sick of it as I am a lover not a fighter. Commish would not join me in Crisco love so I went into hiding. Jerico-X needs a spanking as well.

Geez! You know, I've noticed there's been alot of animosity and childish whining on the boards in general, lately. And it's mostly from people with less than 100 posts.

Yeah, I read THAT one, but it seems kinda tame. The anti-DB stuff is just from 2 or 3 people and the content of the posts are pretty civil. I was expecting a flame war of Star Wars fan-like proportions in order to behumble the mighty DB.

edit-
I'm kinda ashamed he let himself be influenced, or even concerned by crticism that paltry.

This person will not be allowed to return to NBF after upsetting the mojo of this forum. its the best I can do to show support to someone that is reknowned in the Alienware forum and throughout NBF. I won't list any names. There weren't any names used to get us this far. and the message still got across too well.

On a different subject, commish and the xps, this is unrelated. Commish was warned a number of times about starting brand wars in the Alienware forum. There is a Dell forum here at NBF for the discussion of the Dell XPS. That is where the XPS info belongs. Please Refer to the Forum Rules.

also this is Not a DIY forum. It shouldnt need to be repeated over and over again.

Without getting into any details I want to say that I read that thread and posted in it and I am really completely shocked that Jericho-x would be banned for that post.

there are better ways of doing things. beating people down with the idea that a Dell XPS is the best. Force feeding the idea that Building your own system is the best. Making a soapbox speech how humor doesnt have its place in a tech forum. Having a stiff boring forum is the best. all of these things going on at the expense of others. these are just comments to show my surprise. and there is always a bigger picture that a mod has to deal with. the handful that don't like what the Alienware community is about sure seem to spend a lot of time here.
