I'm sure there's an easier way, but I started by uninstalling from Ctrl Panel's Add/Remove Software. The next step was just to search for the string "Creative" in the registry and remove any entries that were truly Creative Labs entries. If you're not comfortable in the registry, you'll be screwed if you make a mistake there. Lastly, the sound founds kept resinstalling themselves and I solved it by looking at the log files generated in C:\windows on boot up and finding and removing those DLLs. Now that, it's all gone, I have normal boot times.
Creative may have fixed some issues with their software, but it still takes forever to start and forever to shut down your computer. In my opinion, it's done very poorly and I've had no issues at all with my Indigo IO.
