Hey,

I have a 12" Powerbook that I am selling. The specs are.
  • 12" screen of course, lol
  • 640 pc2100 RAM (128 built-in, 512 Chip)
  • 40 gig harddrive.
  • airport express
  • "15" Booq Bag" Basically a little carrying case for the Powerbook. Fits Nice, but it was made for a 15" powerbook instead of a 12"
  • An external firewire Lacie 52x cd-rw drive.
  • power cables, etc.
  • VGA Adapter, so you can use an external monitor, it supports mirroring and extended desktops.
  • Brand new G5 keyboard and mouse.

Heres the catch. It has a superdrive in it, but it does not work. I tried almost everything except sending it to Apple, and the upper left hand corner of the screen is a little messed up from the previous owner.

My guess is that since the processor is by your left wrist on the laptop when you type. they closed the lid, and the powerbook was a little too hot and warped / made the screen messed up, but it is still fully usable.

The keyboard and mouse are from a friend who owes me some money, they are still in the wrapping as he hasn't used them yet.

I would like to get around 950 shipped with insurance in the US for that.


The P4 chip is 3.2e gigahertz not Extreme Edition, but just the "e" revision. I bought it with the intention of using it, but ended up going the amd 64 route.

Newegg has it for about 213 or so, so how does 150 shipped and insured sound?


The Dell 15" is a Latitude C510 with the following specs.
  • 1.8Ghz Celeron
  • 20Gig harddrive
  • 512 Ram
  • internal wireless card
  • hot swappable floppy drive
  • Hot swappable cd-rw drive (the drive's faceplate was broken off and in order to eject it you have to use a small screwdriver or something like that to hit the manual eject button. Otherwise it works great)
  • Battery (Well, to be honest it isn't much of one, it holds about a 15 - 20 minute charge, so if you want to use this as a real laptop, then might want to buy a new one.)

I can include an Orinoco Gold card, if that makes a difference.
I should be able to find a laptop case around here somewhere.

I would like to get around 400 shipped for all of that stuff.

All of the prices are Negotiable. I need a newer laptop for work so I am willing to take a hit.

I will trade some equipment for a Sager 5xxx series, 8xxx Series, Uniwills, Alienware, etc. basically a nice working laptop.
