Vicious PC Gaming - Page 2

I don't think there are any other Shogun reviews. There is more information about the Cyberpower and Ibuypower models. Search on that or standby. I think there were at least two other people who ordered from Vicious and should be receiving theirs soon if they have not already.

$1708

This is my first non-Dell purchase, so it's kind of a uncharted territory for me. But I hadn't seen any gripes from those who've already received their 259ia3's, so I'm guessing they're all too busy having a blast, doing some serious gaming.

Vicious has no update on a TV tuner. Doesn anyone have one? Are they even being manufactured?

Is the keyboard of 259ia3 better than sager 3790. The keyboard
on 3790 was too small because of putting side speakers around it.
Also 3790 thermal design was too bad too, left side often got too
hot after typing for 1/2 hour or more. Fans were on the bottom so
if you put it on a flat surface, the machine got really hot.

From the reviews, the keyboard is pretty solid. No problem there.

Does it have a glossy screen?

Does the 259IA3 have a glossy screen?

I would like to know as well...
You mean like Sony XBrite and Fujitsu Crystal View? No.
I don't think that I have owned a 'glossy' screen, so I am not sure that I could tell. I assume that means it is smooth and shiny. If so, the answer would be 'no'. The 259IA3 has a matte finish type screen similar to most laptops.
hows the weight
approx 6.7lbs...
Sweeet. I double checked and the Shogun comes standard with a 9 cell battery.

I'm still digging through the threads to see if anyone posted how long they last. Does anyone know?

That is the Uniwill 258KA0, which is a very respected laptop in these forums. That is a great choice for some serious gaming on the go.

I think Uniwill makes some very nice laptops, and I'm seriously considering ordering my personal laptop through Vicious.

The only downside for me, is it's only WXGA. I'm looking for something with atleast a WSXGA screen or better.
