Well I recieved the Laptop 2 days ago, and am enjoying it alot. Much faster than anything I have ever owned and looks great.
Now to the issues:-) I ordered the laptop woth 2 x 1024 memory chips and I got it with 4 x 512 which although is fine I know I paid more for the other setup and nobody infromed me of the change or credited me for the difference. The other item is the laptop backpack. Now this I can wait on but my problem is that when I called and talked to a CS rep, he told me that the backpack shipped with the computer. Was adament that it would come the same day as the laptop, even though the delivery was already made and I told him 3 times that it wasnt going to be on the shipment because I already had it and it wasnt there. Needless to say the next day I called back, got another CS rep and he told me no backpacks would be shipping till next week and we should get tracking umbers when they do. Now I have no problem with his answer but I do have a problem with CS reps who dont seem to have any idea what is happening with peoples orders? The first guy I talked to sounded down right confused, put me on hold 5 times and then basically lied to me. Alienware has a fine machine in the 7700, and alot of happy people that own alienware computers, but 3881.00 is alot of money. Like buying a car if I feel like I am being lied to or that people on the other end of the phone dont care, then I am a one time customer, no matter how good the product is.
Except for CS I have been very happy so far with my purchase, I hope some alienware reps read this, I dont like posting negative things but I really feel like some CS people at alienware dont have a clue and/or just pain dont care and thats a sad situation for alienware with so much competition out there.
