Does the AverMedia TV tuner work with dscaler?

I am having issues using dscaler.

I simply receive the message:

"can't create overlay surface: 88760168"

Any ideas?

I was unable to Get DScaler, Windows Movie Maker, or Nero Ultra 6 TV thing to work. So far only the AverTV Software works.

anybody tried beyond tv3 on the 9860 as software yet? it looks pretty cool, better then the aver stuff and it is supposed to work, but...........

So far I have not seen a post where anything but the AverTV drivers are working.

Also tried a lot of Stuff but nothing works. Only the Aver software is doing its job. But the video quality given by it is pretty poor in my opinion. My normal tv looks 100 times better(sharper..) on much bigger screen.

So is this an issue of the crappy aver software or of the hardware itself???

And what can I do?

cant really complain about the quality of my picture. i just saw the beyond tv software on a friends computer and it seems way more functional then the aver stuff.
