MiniPCI AverTV Tuner card

Thread Starter
I recently began the extensive task of installing Gentoo on my 9860. So far I have pretty good luck and have everything working; that is to say everything except the TV Tuner card. As far as I can tell, the TV tuner card is a Phillips SAA713x but I am left to guess what the chipset and tuner chip are. My guess is the card is a SAA7134 and the tuner chip is a Phillips FI1236/FM1236 or compatible. The card itself seems to be an AverTV 303p but AverMedia's site discloses minimal technical information and not enough to get it running in linux. Thus far I have got the kernel to recgonize the card but cannot get any input (although tvtime does open and switch sources). So if anyone has any specifics about this card they would greatly appriciated as I am now trying to also compile a Howto guide for Gentoo on the 9860. Thanks all.

That does help alot. It verify that the chipset is a SAA7135HL, I thought it was a SAA7134 before. As far as the other tuner chip goes, I sent an e-mail to Sager's tech support in hopes that they would have the information. I will post the results here for any others who are looking for this information. Thank you Computer_Potato.
