Dell Combination Power Adapter...no fuse in auto adapter!?

Hi,

I just recieved my combo power adapter from Dell (the one pictured here )

Anyway, I unscrewed the end of the auto adapter and noticed something...or the lack of something. NO FUSE! Every auto adapter I've ever had, including my old Inspiron 7000's Lind adapter, had a fuse in it to prevent damage.

Does anyone know why the Dell combo adapter doesn't have one? I'm thinking about not keeping it (even though it is nice...can use AC, DC and airplane all in a nice little zip pouch with pockets) because I'm afraid it could damage my machine, and instead just use a power inverter I bought for my car (already tried it out and it powered and charged the laptop fine)

It'll have an internal resettable fuse.
Add to that the fuse situated on the motherboard and you're well protected.
