Just got back from visiting my in-laws and was very excited to learn that I can get a tax break on a new laptop. Thus, I was looking at NP9860-C, Area-51m 7700, and Hypersonic EX7.
I know you all have answered these types of configuration posts, but I'm a little confused on a good configuration. I had a Dell Inspiron 8200 to play the most intensive games, but its 64MB Video Card is no longer sufficient. Hence, I new a new laptop.
My goal with the new laptop is to (1) play games
and (2) use for business - I work from home and thus the tax break 
. I plan on having two partitions - one for games and the other for business.The games I plan on playing are Doom3 and Medal of Honor, and the like. For business, I use MS Office, Adobe Framemaker and plan on VPN to work. I have no plans for multimedia, for instance, use the laptop for TiVo like functionality.
I myself is more towards NP9860C. But in any case, what would be a great configuration on a NP9860C? Or, should I look at a different manufacturer?
Thanks again for you assistance - I know you are all tired of answering to posts like theses - but I'm looking more at secific configurations.
