Our scores are achieved using 3Dmark03, and a score of 3400-3600 are the norm. Download 3Dmark03 and use that to benchmark your system.

You seem to be using 3Dmark05, in which I believe the normal score for the 9700 would be 1200 or so.

Are you trying it plugged in - because when its unplugged ATI Powerplay tends to really downclock the GPU and the CPU is also downthrottled. Go - Start/Radlinker/Clockrate - Is it 445 and 263???
