Generic power supplies dont offer anything close to what they claim to produce. Sure i could buy a cheap 550W PSU from CompUSA and that would get it's ass whooped by an Antec 350W. IMO, the wattage rating on a power supply cant be compared with other power supplies unless they are of the same brand, only use it as a rough guide.
