Wireless Networking Balloon

On a 1955 Satellite running XP, how do I prevent the "Wireless Network Not Available" balloon from popping up every time I start the computer?
I've turned off the wireless networking switch, and unchecked the "Alert me when wireless networking is not available" box in the advanced properties menu, but it still appears.

you can disable all balloon tips by doing this registry edit:

go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

create a new DWORD value named EnableBalloonTips and give it a value of 0 (zero).
