I did not get the free upgrade on the screen, I got the 1440 x 900 screen BUT they did hook up the internal USB camera. There were a few bonuses, that and the free carry case that will get the job done untill you find a case. I have 37 yr old eyes so I went for the lower rez. The text is the right size for me.

All in all it has worked as advertised and games run great. Had a few Win XP hiccups but I have always been a Win 2K man anyways. Just takes so long to load all my productivity software that I've only had a couple of hours of gaming. There were some settings I had to look for because my audio was really low on DVD's out of the box. They had the speakers set to the wrong size (Desktop instead of laptop).

No dead pixels that I can see and I am really impressed and happy so far. Hope everybody else is happy with theirs and I got mine 3 weeks early to boot. I build my own desktops but I would DEFINATELY buy from Alienware again based on my experience so far.

I've always wondered, how well would a skeevy stonerish looking guy with a metal case look at an airport
