I hate dells...they do not have the best lappy tech, and are overpriced. Take that, dell fans. They scare me

I had a dell...it was slow as heck .... It was a 2.8 P4 with HT...MY FREAKIN Athlon XP 3000+ kicked its arse...same ammount of RAM and same size/make HDD

I have had a dell desktop... they do not compare with my homebuilt ones. Like I said...an Athlon 3000+ (a budget system) kicked the crap out of the dell in PC mark in everything except ram scores (bus was higher on dell, but, everything on the athlon was "inferior"). I happen to have had a genuinely BAD experienc with dell....did I mention that the monitor went to sleep AND NEVER CAME BACK. Dell refused to replace it

If the post does become pointless I or Sakor will be forced to use the hammer of Moderation and axe this thread. So far hes stating his opinions no harm done.

hehe...I love the guy moderating the AW forum. He personally attacks anyone that has anything negative to say about AW computers.

uhh...which one? Before i bought my dell i would be on the AW forums alot and they never personally attack anyone when they say something negitive. i know your not talking about Craig, theres no way he ever did anything close to that. Aurora maybe but i highly doubt it, he has 'bad" days

i think it's funny how you are ragging on dell but just remember their laptops aren't puke green. Looks like someone got ahold of a can of spray paint and did it themselves. Maybe dell just knew your were some jackshit so they sent out the crappiest laptop and desktop to you. Again like i've said before you can't even pay me money to have one of those puke green POS's.

sorry to tell you, but it was indeed craig. Read this thread . Quite comical. There are others where craig repeatedly says similar things to anyone that has anything negative to say towards AW.

Yeah, but your logic is pretty bad. You claim to have an AlienWare and you're saying Dells are expensive and have bad technology. The reverse is true compared to AlienWare. And you say an 3000 xp is faster than a 2.8 p4, well what's your point, it's supposed to be. Your xp was probably in a desktop, too? All parts are faster on a desktop than a laptop, especially harddrives, but also chipsets, because size and power are more of a concern with laptops than with desktops.

No problem with you having your opinion, but if you're going to put forth facts, they should be true and logical.

Craig attacked me, too, through PM. Called me "infantile" and "jackass", for stating my opinion that AW was not a good buy, and deleted my post. And my post was on a thread where actual AW purchasers were complaining about the quality of service they were receiving.

yes except the guy never owned an alienware and was acting like he did. I remember when the thread first appeared and right before it SVT (same guy, different name) was being a huge jerk on the boards.

Im sorry that he snapped on you, i always thought he was a nice guy and as unbiased as a alienware mod can be...oh well
