Old Logitech trackball, its one of their first optical ones. Its the only thing I can really game with, I've tried at least a dozen mice since I got this thing, but I keep going back to my old-a$$ trackball.

I'm juggling between the idea of a Razer Diamondback or a MX1000 laser. Currently I use a cheap Memorex wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Not positive on the response time, but I don't like it much.

i've heard tons of problems with the mx1000 as it is not a completed project, the ones you guys have are beta mice. a MS intellimouse 4.0 came with my 7700, i hate the scroll on it, but its nice and comfy. i have an mx500 that i use on my primary rig, and i also have an older ball-mouse made by Razer. i like the razer ball mouse better than the optical ones i have, it is much more accurate, but extremely uncomfortable, thats why i use the mx500 for everyday use, and sometimes the razer for heavy gaming. so because i use optical more than ball, i voted optical wired. i would never use wireless because of the lag. bleh.

I was thinking about the MX1000, had a chance to play around with it at a local retail store while on vacation. It didn't seem too bad at all, not nearly as what Astu claims it to be...

i wouldnt get it, i've heard bad things about it.

Could you please clarify? What specifically have you heard bad things about? Thanks.
