I've got the MX900, and I love it. No wires, no dongles, no adapters... Its pretty sweet.

LOL, that anand post was rich, the guy is probably just pissed he spent 90 bucks ona amouse and lost the receipt =X

Basically the movies say it all though ... If you play games with a lower sensetivity and generally end up picking up your mouse alot the mx1000 is a horrid thing to be using ... if it never leaves the mousepad your probably good to go if you like the feel of the thing.

I'm currently using a Microsoft optical mouse, but as soon as my 7700 arrives I'll break out the wireless Bluetooth Logitech DiNovo Multimedia desktop (so basically MX900 mouse) =) No point using it on my current compaq.

the MS optical 4.0 sucks, i got it with my lappy, it matches nice, but the scroll wheel is smooth, no little clicks, so its a pain while playing games. especially CS1.6.

Had troubles with MX1000; winXP couldn't reliably recognize it; went thru the LogiTech trouble-shooting guides, re-formated the machine (per AW Tech advice); still no joy. Gave up. Bought a wired MX510. Works fine.

Anyone want a barely-used $80 paperweight?

the button for window shifting won't work for me in XP, otherwise, it is SUPER and NO problems...with AW or my home-built puter

You said to someone else, "i wouldnt get it, i've heard bad things about it."... and now you want to buy one for yourself

Back on topic...
I'm currently using the BT MX900 (diNovo) & MX510 (for travel).
I also own the Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth but prefer the Logitech (better battery life, heavier, feels better in my hand and the MS is more picky about mousing surfaces (hates black mouse pads)).

yeah...the 510 is decent, but the 1000...and 900 kick arse. I don't know about the 900, but the 1000 color matches my system right down to the rubber grips...looks great together

logitech mx 1000. it's the best mouse i've ever used, and well worth the price.

I was interested in the MX1000 but I hear that if you're the type of gamer that picks up the mouse a lot then the MX1000 is NOT the mouse to go with. True?
