this is a joke that I heard at a conference once...one guy had a 4 gig one in his lappy and was saying that. ive got approx 300gigs about 1/3 full.... is anyone else bigger (I don't doubt it)
400GB is the largest currently available. Although, for the price, it's much cheaper to buy 2-200GB drives for $200 than one 400GB drive for $330.

still not enough for me.
Some people need 200tb fibre-channel file servers to store their pr0n.
Sorry for being the n00b again, but what the hell is a 200tb fibre-channel file server?

I get the 200TB part, but the fibre-channel part is over my head...

I HAD 2 250GB Western Digital SATA drives and 1 120GB Western Digital IDE drive.
That's when I had my desktop though, I sold it .... and bought my laptop... which I'm happier with, though I do miss the space. Which is why I'm going to be buying a Dell Server next, and loading that up with 250GB SATA drives, hehe.

Uhh...did I say file servers? I meant direct attachment storage arrays. Oops. I also just realized that they only go up to about 74TB in size.

You really lose 10Gb on those? should be less considering my 200Gb lost ~15
