Does Sager have a trade in policy?

Could I trade in my notebook after 2 or three years toward a new one and then pay the difference?

Don't believe that they have a trade in policy or program.

I believe they do have an upgrade program where, you send them your old one providing they have qualified the laptop to be upgradable. they upgrade the components to current specs of the time, and they charge something like $500 $600 $700 something like that.

do you have any specific links that provide proof of this. I'd really like to know and its handy info ... or are you just speculating?

No trade in policy. Sometimes they have upgrade offers where the motherboard, processor and video card can be upgraded if the chassis is the same as the older version. This is usually pretty expensive, and in my opinion it would be better to sell the whole old notebook and buy a new one.

IIRC, this has not been done since the 5690 came out.
