Rhino Liner On Laptop???

Do any of you folks think it would be cool to have the external panels of your laptops sprayed with rhino liner???

Man is that stuff durable!!!!!!

I think it would ok on a flat smooth shaped laptop. Something along the lines of a thinkpad.
If you are talking about the emachine- I know if you prep/strip the parts yourself, a body sop will usually only charge a small fee to use automotive paint on it.
Hmmm...Corvette Blue sounds nice

I have been thinking the same thing. Has anyone done it? Imagining a few coats of candy apple red...

I was looking at it, at an entirely different point of view, I would think it would be good to apply to a beat up laptop to hide any cracks or blemishes and plus for the durability factor for a new one.

I just think it would look cool, my taste may change though after I see one.

Photoshop anyone??

compman i am way ahead of u. already doing that to my m6805 . it had... blemishes and cracks i just had to deal with. it gets a facelift, plus the plastics are stronger because of the coat of paint.

Bedliner plastic on a laptop. SOMEBODY DO IT! And post pics.

This thread is no fun without pics.

lol bedliner? 2 more days (i think) and pics will b up, but blue painted M6805 Voodoo style. i ran into some troubles (first time painting 4 me), but now it's all good. Just applied the last clear coat on the LCD cap.

if everything goes well assembling all the stuff, i'll post pics

I really want to see how this turns out, I plan to do mine up after a trip to Cleveland in June. I have no need for my laptop until Early August after that.

i only mounted the base so far. the backpanel clearcoat needs to dry up a bit. the thing is... i got my first "that's a cool laptop" last night at work , and it's not even completely finished yet (the backpanel i have on right now says gateway and it's silver... i guess it has a certain touch to it with the blue base, but...)

wait 2 more days guyz and i'll have pics up. i can't today and tommorow bc i have to work... unless some1 is impatient and wants to send me a day's paycheck

hope that the coat dries up fgood

I'd like to suggest pimprig.com (a PC modding site) to host your photos in their gallery and show off your work. I am only a member of the site, but think another modded laptop would be nice addition to the gallery.
